Wild Homecoming Week @ Blue Ridge

Spirit Week! Huh? Is this when all the strange spirits come out and take over the bodies of our young? First you start in the bathroom by teasing and using lots of hairspray.Ok. Looks high and poofy enough! (reminds me of the neighbor girls hair, but hers is like this all the time)
Next, outside to spray some stuff on it; some stuff I'm sure is not all that good for hair!
Then... the finished product and the "spirits" carry her off to school. Can't wait to see what happens when she actually gets in high school! (not!)

Angel Moroni

I was on my way to Wal-Mart to exchange an item (which I forgot!), and as I came to Central I saw an awe-inspiring sight. Workers were placing the statue of Moroni on the spire of the Gila Valley Temple. I pulled off to the side of the road, and watched. I became overwhelmed with gratitude and emotions unable to express in words. The beautiful sight gave me lumps in my throat, tears in my eyes, and goosebumps on my arms. As I realized the culmination of a dream come true. I left the car with my cell phone and asked someone (who I didn't know) to please take a picture for me. As I became acquainted with the Clonts' I learned that they had heard about the placing of the statue in a round about way. I truly feel I was blessed to go at that time, even though I forgot what I was going for. The Lord works in mysterious ways, His wonders to perform. This couple (mother and son) asked me if I wanted my picture taken. I said, "yes, of course." I will go by Clonts Jewelry and pick it up later. If it's good, we'll blog it!

I called Cheri and told her what was happening and she, Michele, Ben, and the kids all came and took pictures also. A memorable experience on Halle's birthday!

For Andy and Michelle's sake.... here's the "finished" product. Of course we still have to stain, to completely finish, but quite an improvement from what it was. Great way to end a birthday!

"A Poor Wayfaring Man of Grief" Special Number

HEY FAMILY, so with my dad being in the bishopric when he asks me to do stuff I can't say no because then he just says well I'll get the Bishop to ask you. Well he asked me to put together a special number for church and in stead of saying no way and getting the Bishop ask me (where I couldn't say no) I decided just to do it. So just click on the link below to see the video of it. The piano arrangement is by Jon Schmidt and is of "A Poor Wayfaring Man of Grief" and I arranged the violin parts to go with that (my very first arrangement! :) ) .

Hope Ya Like It,
-Levi

Financial Advisor of all trades!

Not really, but it has been fun doing a little remodeling on the house. The siding above the garage was in a state of disrepair, so we decided to rip it down, put up new directly above the garage and then add stone to the sides. Hoping it turns out. Cami's especially hoping it turns out!
