Jordan's going where?

If you haven't heard, Jordan got his mission call yesterday (Saturday the 18th) and the little turkey took it and went out into the wild and opened all by himself. But he took a vidoe camera and videod himself opening it (so we thought!). Then Saturday night when my Mom got home from Mesa, we all gathered around the TV to see and then he didn't even say on the video!

He turned it off and told us in person. Which was just as good I guess, except that we sat and watched the whole video for nothing! SO, if you're still wondering, he leaves September 16th to the foreign mission of Hartford Connecticut SPANISH SPEAKING!
We're so excited for the little twerp!

Grandma's House

It's summer and it's time for you to come and visit Grandma! Come and see the new things that are going up all around her house. There are some beautiful flowers, a thriving garden, and the latest project is her new little picket fence! Grandma would love to show these things off to you in person, so PLEASE come and visit! She loves you all!
Grandma has good helpers!
Aren't these gorgeous?!
Just needs a little paint and it'd be first class for sure! (The fence, not Grandma, she's already first class!)

Girls' Camp!

So this last week my parents and I (Clarice) had the opportunity to go to St. David Stake's Girls' Camp. My parents served as cooks in the kitchen all week and I was a youth leader specialist. Anyway, I just wanted to post this video so you all can see a side of my dad you've probably never seen before! The stake young women's presidency put together a dance and made up new words to the song "Thriller" that went along with the camp theme, "Keepers of the Light." This video is a group of us dancing to it. The men in the back are the funniest to watch. Especially my dad and his brother Paul. Enjoy!

We have been having a fun, crazy summer. As I think most of you have been, too! We have been busy keeping up with our (actually growing & producing this year) garden! It has been a lot of fun & very rewarding!! We have been eating LOTS of yellow squash & zucchini, green beans, & corn. We had beets -mmmm! We also have tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers, spaghetti squash, butternut squash, cantaloupe, watermelon, chilies, bell peppers & strawberries. More corn & sweet potatoes. What FUN!!!

Jackie & I picking green beans. I should mention this is her garden, too!:) Brad just happened to pick the one day she was working in it to take a picture!!:) Ha, ha!!

We took a trip to San Diego and visited Sea World, Legoland, & the beach. We were so excited to finally see Wicked last week, and loved, loved, loved it!!! Morgan sang along almost the whole time!:) Just thought we'd say hello & post a pic! We are off camping next week and can't wait to get to the cool White Mountains!! Thanks to the Richardsons for their posts, now it's time to hear from the rest of you!!!
