Hackberry Poppies

We spent a couple of days out at Hackberry Ranch this past week. There are poppies everywhere. Thought you might enjoy a few pictures of them.

Here's to Macey!

What a week! I thought it'd be nice for everyone to write a little something to/for Macey. I know she is in all of our thoughts and prayers, but this could be like an ecard or something. :)

We love you Macey!! (and you, too Lynzi:) - I couldn't crop you out, so I guess you get to share the spotlight - a little :) )

I love Macey. She lets me play with her American Girl doll and all the cool stuff with it. I love to play with her pink poodle with babies and she even let me take them home. Thank you. I hope you get all better and get to come home soon.

We are so happy that you are starting to feel better. You are such a good example to all of us - I know our kids look up to you. You have been such a sweet, good girl since you were just a baby. Girly-girls!

Well, the Fultz's are back in town!  (Half of them anyway.)  And my girls are way excited.  They just LOVE Christiane and Jarrett.  They invited them to stay the night last night, and after the movie Jarrett decided he'd rather sleep at Grandma's, but Christiane stayed.  (Thank goodness, I would've had two sad girls to deal with!)  Just in case you were wondering why they like Christiane so much, I will show you!

And she plays Polly Pockets with them, or hide-n-go-seek, or does whatever they want to do.  What's not to LOVE?

Better late then never?

Okay for those of you who missed it and for those who didn't here are some pictures of the fun time we had at our family Christmas party. It was really a good time and I'm glad we can still get together and make some memories. Since I took like a gazillion pictures I will do slide show(s). :)

So I only had a couple pictures left and I couldn't leave these out! Especially the pie eating contest one!! (The last one) Ha, ha...it just looks like we were having a pie eating contest!!:)

Round 3? Nah, we just skipped right ahead to ROUND 5! Our next-door neighbor was worried his roof was going to cave in so he shoveled the roof while we plowed his driveway.

Bif, our neighbor, likes to shovel (before we snow blow for him) to see how high he can make the pile alongside his driveway. I figure it's about 10 - 12'.
This is our driveway. After a few hours of rain and wind and power outage last night, it turned to snow at 2 or 3 this morning and snow it did!
If you look at the other post you will see our back deck with the patio table. This is it this morning after last night's snow.
To say the least, I'm a little disappointed in all of you. I thought for sure someone would want to come up and enjoy the fun with us! By the looks of the back deck (north facing) we should have snow back there going in to spring. Let us know if you'd like to come up.
