Lynzi and Macey went to girls camp last week and had lots of fun. Lynzi was a fairy in her skit and Macey was Cher! Lynzi's group of YCL 2's kind of ran the whole show, and she loved being the center of attention, surprising isn't it? :)
We've had these matchy-matchy dresses for Morgan and Halle awhile now but it's been too warm to wear them, so last week when the weather cooled down a little from the rain I told Alliene we should take some pictures of them in their dresses. These are just a few I snapped, Alliene was the real photographer!
Hola a todos. This is Elder Fenn in Argentina. Seeing how
everyone is blogging I thought I would too. As you can see I am very happy to be on a mission and I'm loving it. I recommend it to everyone. Well thats all, love you all. Elder Fenn
I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for all your prayers in my behalf over the past few weeks. My surgery went well and I am just about fully recovered. I am so grateful to have such a supportive extended family. You guys are great and I love you all! By the way, this is a picture taken right before I went into the operating room. My mom did take a picture after the surgery, but I look pretty awful and out of it so I'm not posting it :)
Cortlee's 5th-8th grade track championships were in Payson today. She competed in 4 events; 100 meter, 200 meter, 400 relay and the............. shot-put. Last week her coach needed someone to throw so he had them line up and throw. Hers was one of the longest so he had her do it in the qualifiers last week in Round Valley and today in the championship. She threw 22'11" last week and took 3rd today with a throw of 24' 1 1/2". She actually tied with another Blue Ridge girl but her other throws were shorter so she got 3rd. She got 2nd in the 100, 2nd in the 200 and 1st in the 400 relay with her running anchor. Pretty good day for an 80 pound 5th grader!
Who's Grandma Jean and what's with the Mountain Dew???
Hi! Welcome to our family blog! Grandma Jean is the mother of 5 wonderful, beautiful, super, great, intelligent daughters and she also has 3 sons!:) This is her blog to let her children and grandchildren vent, oops I mean share inspiring stories and lots of love and laughter! She is blessed to have a great heritage and posterity and an eternal companion helping us all. She enjoys gardening/yardwork, writing poetry, watching re-runs of "Murder She Wrote" and "Matlock". She is active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is a grandmother to many - like 43 granchildren and already has quite a few greats (9)! She is independent, funny, in a funny sort of way, a hard worker, and loves her family!
